Lucky Cigar Twister in Dubai is a barber-pole cigar, with contrasting wrapper leaves spiralled together along the length of each stick, and this collection holds all six sizes at a balanced, medium strength.

Each Twister pairs Honduran long filler with a Mexican binder, giving cedar, cream, almond and a hint of baking spice. As the two wrappers burn together, the flavour shifts between their lighter and darker sides, which makes it an engaging cigar to share in company.

Choose by time. The 5 x 50 robusto gives 45 to 60 minutes, and the 5 x 54 double robusto adds a little more girth. The 7 x 48 churchill and the 6 x 52 torpedo suit a longer smoke, while the 6 x 60 gordo and the 7 x 60 salomon run to 75 minutes or more.

If you enjoy the spiral, other houses at this strength sit in medium-bodied cigars. The full range is in Lucky Cigar, and a mixed set from several makers is in cigar samplers. Habanora keeps every size in its boutique humidor.
