The Valentino Siesto Premium Series is the core of the house: a robusto and a toro in three wrappers, plus larger sizes, and a simple way to compare one blend family across three leaves.

The pairs are the Premium Series Maduro Robusto and Maduro Toro, the 1971 Robusto and 1971 Toro in Connecticut, and the Sun Grown Robusto and Sun Grown Toro, all robustos at 5 x 52 and all toros at 6 x 52. Beyond the pairs sit the Gran Toro in Sun Grown and in Maduro (6 x 54), the Pico de Pato Maduro (6 x 54) and the Salomon Real Maduro (7.5 x 58).

Maduro gives depth and cocoa, 1971 Connecticut a softer, creamier smoke, and Sun Grown spice and body. The clearest way to learn the series is to smoke the three robustos on different days, then move to the toro in the wrapper you liked. For a longer evening, step up to a Gran Toro or the Salomon Real.
